KMK Coarse Metal Automotive Putty
KMK’s Metal Putty is a two-part filler containing a high percentage of flaked aluminum. This allows it to obtain adhesion, hardness, and general resistance to heat, water, fuels, and lubricants. It’s made with impressive anti-corrosive properties and is mainly utilized to recover flaws of fusion. It can be pierced or trimmed as a filling material to restore and protect metal sheets while filling imperfections on zinc-plated materials. Once sanded, it appears as metal.
Can be used on zinc-plated sheets, aluminum and its alloys, iron, steel plates, and plastics. It can also be used on original paints or ages topcoat finishes.
Mix well with 2-3% paste hardener provided. Do not exceed with the hardener to avoid risk of staining during paint operations. Do not use product in temperatures below 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in cool, dry place.
